Young male, visual loss, and hyperhomocysteinemia

Ischemic Central retinal venous occlusion is a rare cause of visual loss in young population. Systemic association in the form of coagulation disorders like hyperhomocysteinemia is occasionally associated with retinal vein occlusions. We report a unique presentation of ischemic central retinal vein occlusion in young male, with resultant poor visual outcome associated with hyperhomocysteinemia.
